Born in 1973, the son of a University art instructor, David J Liberman entered the world with a sketch pad and pencil in hand. His love for art and his classical training collided with the world of cartoons and superheros at an early age when his sister bought him 2 comic books for his birthday.

This passion for art led him to study classically at Otis College of Art and Design where he studied life drawing and design in great detail and apprenticed under master portrait artist Stephen Douglas.

David’s work has been printed in numerous comic books, Playboy magazine and Hi Times magazine, just to name a few.
