Book Designs Class Requirement About the artist
For this class assignment, we were asked to take a look at either two editions of three different books or three editions of two different books, and then come up with our own design for them. I chose to do the latter option, using Neil Gaiman’s Stardust, Arthur Golden’s Memoirs of a Geisha, and Philip Pullman’s The Golden Compass. We were not required to redesign the entire book; we were just asked to redesign the cover, the front matter, and the first few pages of the books.
