The Wharf Shop and Theme

My latest installation in the Young Men's Department

I made this sign with a lightly spray painted piece of ply wood to mimic the old and dirty feel of the docks. To create the letters I disassembled an old beach fence from my surf shop, cut it into different sizes and secured the letters using various old

The Wharfâ€™s table is made from shipping pallets, that have been stacked, evened out and â€œgrey-washed.â€ To add height and capacity to the table, I sprayed pipes black and secured them to the table.

This fixture is an old bookcase from a stockroom; its industrious feel fits perfectly with the shop.

These frames are made form wood salvaged from an old fence, sprayed for a gritty feel.

To give the rest of the denim department a similar feel to the Wharf shop, I cut wooden boards at various lengths and lightly sprayed them.

To hang the lettering, I sprayed old nylon cording black and utilized long-forgotten clamps to suspend them.

I used the remaining wood from the Diesel Shop and suspended it with the same cording and clamps. I also drilled old pipes into the shelf to add animation.
