On the top right corner of every page you'll find a link to edit your account, view your home area, purchase credits, and log out.

You sure can! Click the Edit Account link at the top right corner of the page and you'll be given the option to add employer tools or portfolio tools to your account.

Go to your home area and click the About You button.

How do I create a resume?

Go to your home area and click the About You button. Once there, click the Add Resume button to get started. Once you save your resume, a PDF of your resume will be created and a link to it will be shown on your showcase as well as given to any employers whose jobs you apply for.

I don't like the look of my showcase, can I change the layout?

Yes. In your home area, click the Settings button for showcase as well as other settings. You need to have at least one project with one file before you can edit your showcase settings.

I notice portfolios can be searched by skills. Where can I tell people what skills I have?

In your home area, click the Settings button which will allow you to add skills you have. This option is only available if you have at least one project and one file in that project.

In your home area, click the Settings button to modify your time zone.

I want to change the order of the panels in my home area for whatever reason. Is that possible?

To change the order of panels, just drag and drop them above or below another panel. You might use the jobs watched panel more than others, so this lets you keep your priorities straight.

How do I create a project? Also, how do I edit its details once I created a project?

In your home area, you can click the New Project button, select the type of project, enter its details, and create. Alternatively, you can click the type of projects you wish to view in the Projects panel and click the New Project button from there which will automatically set the project type to the zone you're in. To edit a project's details, simply click on the text on the top left of your screen that describes the project, such as the large title, URL, client, etc. When you click that text an editor will pop up which allows you to edit details right there.

How many projects and files am I allowed to have?

You can have up to 15 projects, 75 images, 25 Flash files, and 8 videos all completely free. In the future we will add paid plans that allow you to raise these limits.

Yes. Drag and drop projects to arrange their order. This order will be reflected on your showcase.

While viewing a project, click the red Delete Project button. All files within that project WILL be permanently deleted!

While viewing a project's contents, click the Add Image button (or Flash/Video).

I want to tag a file for search purposes, how can I get that done?

It's simple. Once you've created your file, click on its image to add/edit tags. Separate tags with a comma as such "guitars, photography, web design"

When viewing the file after clicking its image, simply click on the text on the top left of your screen that describes the file, such as the large title, URL, client, etc. When you click that text an editor will pop up which allows you to edit details right there.

Yes. Drag and drop files to arrange their order. This order will be reflected on your showcase.

How do I delete a file I no longer want?

While viewing a project, click the red delete button on the top right corner of the file's image, or click the file to view it and click the red Delete Image button (or Flash/Video).

How do I post a job?

From your home area, click the Post a Job button. You can also do it form the jobs page by clicking the corresponding button on the top left of the page.

How much does a job listing cost, and how long does it last?

Jobs are posted by credits. One job equals one credit. Each credit costs $175, however buying bulk credits give you substantial savings. Credits never expire. Listings last a full 30 days from activation.

Where can I purchase credits?

On the top right of your screen you'll see your credits displayed as well as a link to purchase more. Payments are processed through PayPal. You can also purchase them after creating a job listing. After creating you listing you'll be asked to activate the listing for public display and given the option to purchase credits or use existing credits.

Can I edit a job listing once I've activated it?

Yes, but you cannot edit the title. If you made an error in the title such as a spelling error, you can contact us at about it and we'll take a look. To edit the rest, you can do so from your home area and clicking on the right place in the Jobs Posted panel.

I've gotten a few too many applicants, can I disable the listing for a bit so I can sort through these applicants?

Absolutely. You can disable the listing for as long as you like in your home area by clicking the proper link in the Jobs Posted panel. The listing's 30-day timer will keep counting down while disabled, but will not be publically viewable.

I see I have some applicants. How do I check them out?

In your Jobs Posted panel, click the Browse Applicants link to view all applicants for that job. You can view their resume, showcase, contact information, and introduction statement from there. You can also decline any applicants you don't see fit.

How do I decline applicants I don't like?

While viewing applicants, click the red delete button on the right side of the application. Applicants will not be notified and cannot reapply for the same job.

How do I watch a job I may want to apply to?

While viewing the job listing, on the left side you will see a watch link you can click to keep an eye on the job. You can edit your watch list from your Jobs Watched panel in your home area.

I no longer care about a certain job I'm watching, can I remove it?

In your Jobs Watched panel, click the red delete button to stop watching it.

Do employers know who is watching their jobs?

No. Employers can see the amount of views a job listing receives, but they cannot see specifically who has their job in a watch list.

How do I become a featured artist of the week?

We look around and find portfolios we really like and feature them, but we obviously miss some here and there. If you would like to be considered, send an email to with a link to your portfolio and let us know you're interested in being featured.

Is there any way I can make my portfolio more prominent?

Aside from being a featured artist, we suggest updating your portfolio regularly to show up most recent in the portfolios page. Also, tagging your files and filling out your skills will help boost your visibility. It doesn't hurt to link your showcase in other web sites you visit either, perhaps a link in your forum signature might be in order?
