Laura's showcase

My full name is Laura Jane Page and I am 23 years old. I live in Manchester. Photography is my passion, and I hope you enjoy looking at my pictures.

I have never had any formal training in digital photography. I worked it all out for myself, helping to prove to myself that digital photography is a very rewarding hobby. I decided that the only way to progress on my own was to experiment, trial and error and to use different techniques on different pictures. I am currently using a Canon Powershot A470, which has a 3.4 optical zoom and is 7.1 megapixels, along with a very steady hand.

I am aiming to become a professional freelance photographer.
