Anti-seismic building - Design and structural analysis Course of Advanced Structures About Luca Magliozzi
This work involved the design and structural analysis of a residential five-storied building. The structure is made of reinforced concrete. I wrote the General Descriptive Report, Materials Report, Geotechnical Report and Calculation Report, together with working drawings, containing information about the building's shape, the indivudal sections of the structural elements and all the reinforcement rods resulting from the design process and structural analysis. The analysis, mostly made through Midas Gen, involved the following aspects: load analysis, design and check of reinforced concrete floors, sizing of the frame, design and check of the stairs, beams, columns and foundations.
