AnaPaula is from Mexico; a sophomore high school student at Saddlebrook Preparatory. She has shown a lot of growth this year and is the "go-to" girl when it comes to mixing colors.

"I really like this work of mine. The most challenging part was coming up with the idea of what I was going to draw and the shades of the cups. "

"I looked at a picture of a subway and was instantly inspired by that. The drawing makes me feel like I am actually at a subway station since it looks realistic."

"The two elements I used where form and color. I used form because the face is not clearly outlined it is just implied that it is a face. Thanks to the color which is black you can clearly see the face in the picture."

"Art in Medieval times was simple and two dimensional and the colors were not bright, just like this one. It shows simplicity."

"The main focus of this piece was for people not to take drugs. The slogan â€œHugs not Drugsâ€ is supposed to convince people that there are better thing in life than drugs."
