M. Sofia's showcase

I come from many places and search to belong to many more. I look for meaning in the things I see and create and the lives of the people with whom I interact. I enjoy the full picture and then zoom to the components that make it work. I love the complexity of the world in which we live and the wicked problems it generates, problems that do not ask for solutions but diverse array of approaches.

I believe architecture can bring ideas and people together for the enrichment of a community and the enhancement of cultural understanding. Architecture can make change visible altering the spaces we inhabit which in turn help shape who we are and how we relate to one another. I enjoy the generalist nature of architecture, being able to understand and coordinate many things, many teams, many professions in search of the best approach and realization of a vision.
